Privett International Ltd is owned by David
and Fiona Dymott and specialises in the design, manufacture
and installation of bespoke sculpture, water features, planters
and public art.
David set up his own workshop making jewellery displays
for worldwide distribution though a design company based in Cheam. When
Fiona joined Privett International they were manufacturing
professional film processing equipment for organisations worldwide
and surgical equipment. With the advent of digital photography
making the equipment the company had been designing and building
obsolete, it was their outstanding tool making skills that
enabled Privett to diversify and create intricate designs in
metal to produce the beautiful flower water features and bespoke
sculpture you now see at Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows. As
their business changed and developed, Dave and Fiona moved
their workshop from Wimbledon to Leigh near Dorking, giving
them space to design, create and display a greater range. |

Dalton Leong, Chief Executive, Shooting Star House
Children’s Hospice, Hampton, Middx
The children, families and visitors
of Shooting Star House Childrens Hospice have all benefited
from the beautiful ‘Shooting
Stars Water Feature’ from Privett. This forms the central
focal point of The Courtyard Garden at the hospice, as was especially
commissioned to have 18 shooting stars to signify the age of
Marc Brown, to whom The Courtyard Garden is dedicated. Marc
had just turned 18 when the water feature was being installed and
yet he was not expected to live beyond 15 years of age. Privett
proved accommodating to the change form their original design
in order to tailor the water feature to suit our needs. We
would not hesitate to deal with them again.
Matt
James, Matt James Garden Design Ltd
I needed a company who could work
on a sensitive project, deliver on time and with minimum
fuss. After
thorough consultation, Privett fulfilled the brief for a number
of large specialist planters in a public area, leaving me and
my client more than happy.
Chris Allen, Huntingdonshire District Council
Privett were commissioned to build two
majestic Tetra water features in copper and stainless steel. They are a wonderful enhancement to the environmental
regeneration of St Benedict’s Court shopping area in Huntingdon town centre.
Bella D’Arcy, designer and artist
“I
chose Privett because of the high quality of their work and attention
to detail. Then I wanted to work with them again and again because
they are so meticulous and such a caring and friendly group of
people that really want to make your design work" |
